This is a Lighthouse Learning Trust Role which will require your week to be split between Richard Taunton College and St Vincent College, Gosport

Would you like to be able to help young people with additional needs have a bright and fulfilling future? Would you like to have a lifechanging, positive impact on their lives every day?

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to set up and lead our new Supported Internship programme for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans. This will be a brand new programme that will change the lives of young people in Southampton, and over time the wider local area.

This role will work with employers to find work placements for young people with additional needs that will ultimately lead to paid work. They will be supporting the young people in the workplace and helping them to learn and do the job, while they are on the internship programme. Over time we hope to build a team of Job Coaches that this role will line manage.

Ideally, you should:

- Be passionate about supporting and guiding young people

- Be skilled and have experience of talking to employers

- Be flexible and adaptable

- Want to make a difference to the lives of young people with additional needs

Ideally candidates will hold a qualification in Supported Employment and be trained in Systematic Instruction. However, for the right candidate this training will be provided.

For further information on the role, please review the job description.
