Salary: Support Staff Spine Point 26 - FTE £24,503 actual salary £21,063.15
Due to a significant expansion in the number of students attending the College we have an exciting opportunity for an additional Progress and Support Tutor to join our Student Services team.
The college is looking for individuals who are committed to holistic approaches to support students' academic and personal development. This is a non-teaching role but having teaching experience may be an advantage as delivery of tutorial sessions on pastoral topics to groups of students is a part of the role. The role also acts a key pastoral member of staff who undertakes focused work to support and monitor the attendance and progress of approximately 200 16-19 year old learners. As Tutor, this role will also implement behaviour and engagement programmes to support the academic progress of learners accessing support services.
The college is looking for a candidate that has excellent interpersonal and communication skills that can work under pressure, be a team member but is also confident working independently with our students, staff and parents.
