We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic candidate to join our Careers and Progression team working as the SUN Progression Mentor. Funded by the Office for Students, the Southern University Network’s (SUN) objectives are focused on young people living in local areas where higher education participation is lower than might be expected, given the GCSE results of those who live there.

You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills as well as experience of working with young people in an advisory capacity. As the Progression Mentor, you will be the key SUN contact in the college and take a leading role in mentoring target students and organising activities and events that particularly focus on the various pathways into HE.
This post will be funded by SUN until July 2020, with possible extension until July 2021.
